Smart Polymer Composite Materials & Structures
Smart Polymer Composite Materials and Structures is a Research Experience for Undergraduates (Smart REU) project. Faculty from the departments of chemistry, mechanical engineering and civil engineering will mentor students.
Notice: Implementation of the 2020 REU Program is pending NSF award determination; however, applications are still being accepted.
Requirements Benefits
U.S. citizen/permanent resident $600/week stipend
Enrolled in an undergraduate program at a two- or four-year institution On-campus housing, if needed
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 Up to $600 travel reimbursement
Desire to pursue a career in research and/or graduate school in your majorDining card provided
