CCI Cyber Camp

Announcing the first CCI Cyber Camp, which will be held virtually on three consecutive Saturdays––July 31, Aug. 7, Aug. 14, 2021. The camp is open to undergraduates attending a public or private Virginia college, university, or community college.

Students can enhance essential skills to enter the cybersecurity workforce, including exposure to network and architecture security, cyber analytics, cryptography, and more. The camp also builds soft skills, specifically how to interview for jobs and present technical projects with confidence. Software engineer David Oranchak is participating in the camp and creating several challenges. Oranchak was on the team that cracked the famous 340-character cryptogram of the Zodiac Killer.

Students need to register for a May 7-10 qualifying event by May 6.

There’s an information session at 1 p.m. ET April 28 to discuss the camp and qualifying event.
