2020 Global Change Center Undergraduate Science Policy Fellowship

In partnership with the Virginia Tech School of Public and International Affairs, the Global Change Center will provide funds to send an undergraduate student to the Washington Semester, Leadership through Policy and Governance 2020 summer program.

The selected student will be partnered with a public, private or non-profit organization for a unique 11-week immersion into work experience to the nation’s capital. While obtaining academic credit, students in the Washington Semester program join efforts to address challenging science policy issues that shape communities locally and nationally. The GCC Science Policy Fellowship is designed to support a unique track for science and engineering majors who are specifically interested in the science-policy interface.
