2020 Biomedical Engineering & Informatics REU Summer Internships
The Biomedical Engineering Department and Center for Biomedical Informatics at Wake Forest University will offer 10-week summer undergraduate research opportunities in 2020. Students selected for this Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program will receive a stipend and on-campus housing.
Exciting research opportunities include over 30 biomedical engineering and informatics projects offered by 20 different faculty on topics, including:
Injury prediction model development
Military, sports and spaceflight safety
Osteoporosis prevention
Biomechanical characterization of injury mechanisms
Diagnostics and therapies for cancer patients
Biomedical informatics
