European Affairs in a Global Context (Fall 2018 - Switzerland)

As part of the Political Science Department’s Global Engagement initiative, this

study abroad program will explore European security, political economy and identity issues that will shape politics on the European continent for years to come.

Students will study these issues and pursue undergraduate research and other experiential learning projects at Virginia Tech's

Steger Center for International Scholarship in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland. 15 hours of course credit, including Italian, will build toward the Minor in Global Engagement.

A two-page statement of purpose, two letters of recommendation, and unofficial transcripts are due in the International Studies Program office (119 Major Williams Hall) by Monday, 5 February 2018.

Questions can be directed to program organizers Dr. Scott Nelson, scnelson@vt.edu, and Dr. Yannis Stivachtis, ystivach@vt.edu

Students in all majors are welcome.
