Spring 2018 AIS Undergraduate Research Support

The Academy of Integrate Sciences is supporting research opportunities for the following majors: Computational Modeling and Data Analytics, Nanoscience and Systems Biology. Students doing undergraduate research with faculty from Virginia Tech can apply to receive research support for up to $3,000. These funds can be used to fund lab expenses or wages paid to the student.

The deadline for applying for support for the Spring Semester is December 15th.

The submitted application must contain:

1. A completed Application Form signed by both the student and faculty member. (Attached here.)

2. A short (less than one page) description of the research project. If the research project will be taken for credit, the Undergraduate Research / Independent Study form can be substituted for the description of the project.
