Undergraduate Research Opportunity in Wireless Communications

Are you a student in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or closely related field looking for a hands on opportunity in wireless communications?

Students may work for experience or apply for an NSF undergraduate researcher position. Research can also be supported through work study hours for students who are eligible.

For volunteer positions, students should be able to commit to working a minimum of 3-5 hours per week. To be considered for paid positions, students should indicate the number of hours per week that they can work regularly, up to the maximum permitted hours.

Students will be selected based on a resume and a brief written statement of interest, and phone or in-person interviews of finalists will be conducted.

1. Evidence of academic achievement

2. Relevant experience from paid or volunteer work, class projects, and / or hobbies

3. Other experience that demonstrates potential for independent and team work

4. Evidence of potential to benefit from the experience

5. Age of at least 18 years at the beginning of participation in the research
