VHL Alliance: App Design & Development Competition
Interested in applying your computer science skills to health?
The VHL Allicance (VHLA) is running an app design and development contest to spread awareness of VHL, and to develop a mobile tool that will allow VHL patients, caregivers, and physicians to better manage their care.
There is no cost to enter and the contest provides a number of benefits for your students, including:
Worldwide recognition for their hard work and effort on a meaningful project
Chance to give back by working directly with patients, caregivers, and physicians to make a significant difference in their lives
Chance to take the material they are learning in the classroom and apply it in real life
Chance to win $5,000 in prize money
